Pratha Sharma is an Indian Classical Odissi Dancer, Guru, Cultural Researcher and Author who specializes in the traditional temple dancing styles of Odissi. With over 40 years of association with the art form, her work primarily focuses on documenting and propagating the ancient, fast-depleting heritage of Hindu temple culture and classical arts. Pratha Sharma received her formal training from Sree Neelanchala Seva Sangha, located at the Lord Jagannath Temple in Delhi. Her teaching methodology incorporates the styles of two prominent Odissi gurus, Mayadhar Raut and Kelucharan Mohapatra. She also holds a certification from Pracheen Kala Kendra in Chandigarh.

She has authored and documented texts on Odissi for students titled 'Oudhr Magadh Nritya Shaili' series and 'Geet Govindam in Oudhr Magadh Nritya Shaili' series- as Odissi was known in ancient India. The emphasis is on the original style practiced within the ancient temples, especially Jagannath Temple in Puri by the Maharis.
